To appropriately dispose of and recycle your fire extinguisher, contact your local council for advice on where to drop them off at disposal facilities, or take them to your local fire station. Alternatively, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to assist.

To start with, ‘Don’t panic’. Don’t squeeze the handles together with the pin removed unless you are combating a fire. We appreciate sometimes things like this happen. The pull pin will slide or can be clipped back into place depending on its design if it is accidentally removed. What will need replacing is the tamper-proof clip / button, which detaches when the pin is pulled. Contact us directly and we can organise a replacement.

In the unlikely event of ‘a failure to operate’ incident, please contact us immediately. Place the unit in a safe position and await our instruction.

Depending on the condition in which the fire extinguisher is kept and as long as the unit is serviced according to the appropriate national service guidelines your unit should have a lifespan of between 5 to 10 years. Any questions or queries you may have in respect to this, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
