Mains electrical power must be switched off before use on live electrical fires. However, this product has been safety tested to 1000V if used by accident.

- Aerosols should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated space, free from freezing risk and where the temperature cannot exceed 40 °C
- Keep aerosols out of the sun and store in a cool dry place away from heat or extreme cold. The pressure inside the cylinder can increase greatly in heat and may cause it to burst.
- Do not put aerosols on a bonfire, even when they are empty, because they will explode and may cause injury.
- Do not pierce aerosols, even when they are empty, because there is always some pressure, and possibly some of the product left.
- You should never keep aerosols inside the cabin of a car or where occupants are directly present because even in winter temperatures can rise quickly. They should be kept in the boot or in a contained storage area.
